WHO SHOULD REPORT THE WORK ACCIDENTS AND WHEN?
It is obligatory to notify the law enforcement officers immediately by the employer and to the Institution within 3 working days after the accident at the latest. However, this period starts from the date of learning of the work accident, if the work accident occurs in places beyond the employer’s control. If the notification is not made by the employer, it must be fulfilled by the accident worker.
If students, apprentices or trainees receiving vocational training in the workplace have a work accident, the notification is made BY THE WORKPLACE EMPLOYER WHO HAS TRAINED OR INTERNSHIP to the authorized law enforcement officers in the place where the accident occurred, and to the Institution within three working days after the accident at the latest.
