A criminal complaint for fraud, a notification or complaint related to the crime can be filed with the Prosecutor General’s Office or law enforcement agencies. A notification or complaint made to the governor’s office or the district governor’s office or the court is referred to the relevant Prosecutor General’s Office. A notification or complaint can also be made orally, provided that it is submitted in writing or on record. If the victim does not explicitly renounce his complaint after the investigation has passed into the prosecution phase, the trial continues.
In order for the crime of fraud to occur, the perpetrator must make a mistake with fraudulent behavior that can deceive someone, to the detriment of him or someone else, to benefit him or someone else. Cheating is a qualified lie.
