A– The creative sources of law in the period of the kingdom are the king, the customary rules, the people’s assembly (senatus). Executive resources are King.
B– The creative sources of law in the Republican era are the people’s assembly (senatus) and the work of lawyers. Executive resources are consuls. During the Republican period, the Law of 12 Plates came into being. The political reason for the emergence of the Law of 12 Plates is the elimination of class conflict by eliminating the inequality between the Patricians and the Plebeians. Its legal purpose is to collect (codify) the customary law and make it regular.
C– The creative sources of law during the first empire, or Principate, were the people’s assembly and the princeps (chief). The source of validity is the lawyers.
D– The last empire, Dominatus, was the creator and source of action during the reign of the emperors.
