Turkey Student Visa
Students who are eligible to study in any higher education institution in Turkey are required to obtain a “student visa” before coming to Turkey. The student visa is issued by the Foreign Representative Office of the Republic of Turkey of the country in which the foreign student is a citizen or the country in which he / she resides with his / her residence permit. The foreign national who will obtain a student visa must submit the “University Admission Letter” from the University in Turkey to the Foreign Representative Office of Turkey. The student visa is required to be processed in the passport of the student and the people who come to Turkey without a student visa, visa exemption or other type of visa are not registered.
Foreign students who come to Turkey on a student visa and enroll in the University are required to apply for residence permit for study purposes. The duration of the student visa issued by the Foreign Representative Office of the Republic of Turkey varies with countries. Student visas are issued in the form of 30 or 90 days. The foreign student is required to apply to the Directorate of Immigration Administration of the province or district in which he / she resides before the completion of this period and obtain residence permit for study purposes.

Student visas are single entry, and after entering the country on a student visa, the foreigner must apply for residence permit for study purposes. If the foreigner leaves Turkey without applying for residence permit for study purposes, his visa will be cancelled. The foreigner whose visa is cancelled will not be able to obtain a residence permit for study purposes even if he / she re-enters Turkey under the visa exemption. Unwanted Persons On Student Visas
If the foreigner carries one of the following conditions, the student visa is not requested.
Foreign students who have blue cards within the framework of Law No. 5203;
Foreign students who are children of resident parents with work permits or residence permits in Turkey;
Foreign students who have completed their secondary and Higher Education in Turkey and who have started their undergraduate and (or) Master’s degree education without deceleration for more than 1 year;
Teaching programs in Turkey, previously a student visa with a residence permit for study purposes foreign students residing area and chapter are eligible for a student visa in the event of a change before Dec.
If foreign students have previously enrolled in any university program and have subsequently changed their department or university, no new student visa is required. However, if they make changes within the same province, they must submit their new student documents to the provincial or district directorate of Immigration and if they have made a change, they must apply for a residence permit to the Provincial Directorate of Immigration.
